Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav has been convicted in a check bounce case. In this case, Yadav has been sent to jail for three months by the Delhi High Court. Yadav has failed to pay the amount of an agreement before the trial court. Taking a stern stand, the High Court has sentenced Rajpal Yadav to three months in jail.
What is the matter of Rajpal Yadav
In 2010, Rajpal Yadav had taken a loan of 5 crores, but due to non payment of this amount, the person giving the loan sought refuge in the court. In the court this year, the agreement was reached that Rajpal Yadav will return Rs 10 crore 40 lakh, but when Rajpal Yadav did not pay the amount, he sent him to jail in the court.
Rajpal Yadav borrowed some money, saying personal need, from Surinder Singh, Indore resident. For the return of this amount, Yadav gave a check of Axis Bank Mumbai to Surender Singh, which was bounced on depositing in the bank in September 2015. After this Surnder Singh sent a notice to Rajpal through the lawyer. Regardless, Rajpal did not pay the attorney. Filed a complaint against Rajpal Yadav in the District Court on this.
